With a silvery metallic cobalt blue interior in some light, and a transparent to opaque cobalt blue in other lighting this piece give a gorgeous multi-dimensional glow to whatever room it is placed in.

What is so unique about these sculptural pieces is the way they can stand or lay on one side to create different looks. They can be used with water for flowers or as a sculptural accent. This makes them both functional as well as an heirloom piece of art.

Each piece is a one of a kind creation by Jonathan Winfisky in his studio in Western Massachusetts.

Jonathan Winfisky has been designing and producing unique and original blown and cast sculptural glass vessel forms since 1973. As an artist. Jonathan was drawn to the medium of hot glass at an early age. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in glass sculpture in 1978. His elegant pieces are known for their jewel-like colors, sensuous forms, and simplicity of line.

His work has been featured in the Corning Museum of Glass, The Corning New Glass Review, The Wheaton Museum of Glass, and is shown in galleries world wide, as well as numerous prestigious public and private collections.

Each piece is a signed and dated original work of art glass created in the setting of a renovated 100-year-old barn studio in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
