Fine Platinum European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring - Traub - Orange Blossom - 1940's

This Orange Blossom Engagement Ring by Traub is a wonderful exquisitely detailed rare find! It is even more beautiful in person with so much fire to the diamonds that I could not capture in the photos!

Created from solid platinum/iridium, the engagement ring features a stunning 5mm old European cut diamond in the center surrounded by 18 older cut accent stones. All of the stones as well as the mounting are in excellent condition. The diamonds all have excellent clarity with no visible inclusions. The center stone is conservatively graded to be approximately K in color and VS clarity, while the side stones are in the G-H range for color and VS clarity. The interior of this ring is inscribed with "Orange Blossom", "900 plat, 100 irid", as well as the makers mark for Traub.

You just can't beat the craftsmanship of this piece! The diamonds are finely polished and have tons of fire and brilliance and the fine detail of the way each stone is set makes this a piece you will enjoy for a lifetime! The face of the ring measures a substantial 8.6mm north to south and 15.2mm east to west.

Orange Blossom jewelry was created by the Traub manufacturing company. Starting in the early 1900's, the Orange Blossom Jewelry Company produced beautiful engagement rings. The company was bought out in the 1990's, and the original jewelry molds were destroyed. These antique and vintage rings were made with high-quality components and lovely designs.

A size 4.5, this ring would be easily size-able by a skilled jeweler.
