This ring is truly a one of a kind vintage treasure!
Crafted from solid 14k yellow gold with platinum and sterling silver bezels (tested), this ring displays a gorgeous 5mm rose cut stone in the center flanked by four tiny rose cuts, and four marquis shaped diamonds. All of the diamonds are fiery and eye clean. The center diamond is bezel set in silver while the other bezels are platinum. The stone looks to be in good shape with only a small nick to the stone under the bezel. It can't be seen without using magnification.
This ring has stunning blossom carvings all over the top of the ring. I would conservatively estimate that this ring may have been created in the 1930's or 40's... a revival time for rose cut diamonds.
The craftsmanship of this ring is just wonderful. The marquis stones look a bit like leaves in the middle of the blossom pattern of this piece. This is a rugged ring that would make a beautiful engagement ring or right hand ring. It is a small size 4.5, but I do believe that it could be modestly sized by a skilled jeweler. There are small indents in the metal on either side of the blossom pattern.
The face of the ring measures 11.6 by 18mm.
