Micro Mosaics date back before Roman times and describe the creation of a piece of art using tiny fragments of stone or glass. They became particularly popular in jewelry between the 17th and 19th century.

We believe this ring to date back to the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. It is floral in design with beautiful white stars going around the center of the ring. Small glass pieces were skillfully used to make the white petals of the flowers, green leaves, and white stars. This is truly a work of art in miniature.

The shank of the ring is solid marked 14k yellow gold. The center focal of the ring measures approximately 14mm round.
