Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring Garnet Filigree

This ring is absolutely amazing in every way!

One approximately 7.5mm garnet is set into solid platinum. The garnet is gorgeous with a deep vibrant red color. It is in excellent condition. It absolutely glows from the inside when light hits it! It is held up by four very sturdy platinum prongs that let a lot of light in from every angle.

The mounting is solid platinum and has a wonderful substantial feel to it. Approximately .15ct-tw of diamonds adorn either side of the mounting. There are 22 diamonds total. The diamonds are H color and VS clarity. Very beautiful stones!

The band of this ring is in great shape with lots of wear left to it. There is lovely open work to the underside of the ring, as well as a bit of engraving down the sides. The filigree is in leaf and vine patterns with ribbon on the sides. It is just magnificent. I don't believe this mounting is original art deco, but rather an excellent more modern interpretation.

This ring is currently a size 4.5 but could be sized by a skilled jeweler.
