Antique Victorian Locket Rare Large Gold Back and Front Engraved Design

Beautiful rare Victoria Locket with deeply chased design.

This locket measures 2.5" long including the bale, and 1.5" wide. It tests as 9ct gold and base metal. The scroll work design is just fantastic. Inside the locket is an old daguerrotype photograph of a gentleman. The photograph has the original beveled glass over it to hold it in place. This piece is a rare treasure from the 1800's.

The locket weighs a hefty 32.1g and is in great condition. It is ready to wear and be enjoyed for another's lifetime.
