Bright Old European Cut Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring

The detail in this ring is just beautiful!

One old European cut diamond set into the top of this solid platinum ring. The diamond is a wonderful round cut that reflects the light and has lots of fire. It faces up quite white, eye clean and is approximately .25cttw, H color, and SI1 clarity. The platinum mounting holds the stone securely and has a low profile from the side.

The design of the top holds the stone with detailed fishtail prongs and shows off two small old cut diamonds on either side of the center stone. The smaller diamonds have milgrain detail in the design around them as well as a window cut out detail down the shank. With this side stones, the total carat weight of the piece is approximately .30cttw. I can't say enough about the delicate detail on the side of this piece. Simple and perfect. It really makes the ring a special one of a kind treasure.

The head of this ring is approximately 5mm wide. This ring weighs 2.0g.

This ring is currently a size 6 - 5.75 but could be sized by a skilled jeweler.
